What’s on Sale in January!

What's on sale in january

What’s the best way to save money while using coupons? Shop in cycles! :)

Shop in cycles, you ask? Yes, Grocery Sales Cycles!

Everyone knows that produce is seasonal. If you want to make a batch of peach jam, the best time of year is during the summer, when the fruit is in season and at its lowest price. Did you know packaged and canned foods are seasonal too just like produce? It’s true!

When’s the best time to stock up on baking supplies? Fall & Spring (Thanksgiving & Easter). Two major times of the year, most people do a lot of baking.

How about BBQ sauce or condiments? Summer time, of course! Between Memorial & Labor Day! Would you rather pay $4.00 for a bottle of BBQ sauce in January or grab one from your stockpile knowing you only paid $0.50 for that bottle? Stockpile please! :)

Understanding the grocery sales cycle is one of the best ways to save your family money. This will help you know when to stock up on certain “in season” items and when to hold back on purchasing.

The idea is to create a stockpile. Yes, I said stockpile! I know what you’re thinking…. this is NOT hording, or for a zombie apocalypse. :) Just a stockpile that will last you 3-12 months or until the product reaches its lowest price again.

Matching these sale cycles with coupons is when you can save a TON of money and stock-up on the products your family needs at rock bottom prices. Here are bargains you’re likely to find this month.
